 GRAHAM DUDMAN

Graham began working as a 19-year-old trainee reporter on the Stockport Express before spending almost 30 years on Fleet Street.

His national newspaper career started on the Daily Mail where he was a casual reporter. After 18 months he moved to the Daily Express before joining The Sun in 1990 where he held a number of roles including News Reporter, Moscow Correspondent and News Editor.

Graham then went to Miami, Florida to set up a news agency which he ran for five years.

Graham returned to The Sun in 1998 as Head of News then Assistant Editor (Features) and a  seven-year stint as Managing Editor. He was a member of the paper’s duty editing rota and a weekend leader writer.

During his last four years at News UK, Graham was Editorial Development Director helping to run training courses for staff on The Times, Sunday Times and The Sun.

Graham sits on the board of the Society of Editors and is a member of the NCTJ’s Accreditation Panel.

 

Graham is now an Editorial Consultant and chairman of the Editorial Board at News Associates.
